TEAM PAULA
500 PIES
Our school had 500 pies for each student and faculty for the annual Thanks Giving lunch. It was pretty amazing…except it took a long ass time to organize that they completely slacked on feeding the hungry architecture students some turkey.
…at least I get to have some wine while we wait. : )
happy turkey day!
I’m thankful for my parents, my sister Kristina, my family in Florida and here in California, my wonderful friends and my best friend/best boyfriend, Peter.
…so much food!
I know my Spanish
- Paula: ...wow, I'm the only one in this circle who doesn't speak Spanish.
- Gonzalo: Quick, say taco.
- Paula: Taco!
- Gonazalo: There, now you blend in.
OMGOMGOMGOSH
Last night, I died and resurected in retail mall heaven. On the way to visit Peter at work in Westwood, but that butt muncher had already taken off from work so we decided to go to Century City mall instead.
Unfortunately, my iPhone mapped the wrong Century City mall and we end up at Culver City century city mall, in which I discovered a HUGE ass Forever 21 store next to H&M next to a Target next to a Best Buy.
All of this was inside this awesome mall. (Did I mention there’s a Kyo-Chon chicken inside the food court?)
Anyway, this mall was love at first sight. Although it could use better stores. All they had was a Macy’s and a bunch of unknown name brands.
I suggest putting a Steve Madden, Urban Outfitters, Nordstorm, Juicy Couture, Betsy Johnson and maybe my boyfriend, Marc Jacobs.
…I’m just saying.
If they have stores like the one in Beverly Center, maybe they’ll attract more customers (like me). Then again, it’s a new mall so there’s a lot more empty spaces. But they should get that shit fix. It’s the holiday!
I couldn’t control myself as i entered this two story Forever 21 store. All the other Forever 21 at the Grove, the Americana, Third Street Promenade at Santa Monica, Beverly Center just got their ass kicked. (Old Town Pasadena’s Forever 21 though is still bad ass).
But i will never forget the Forever 21 in New York. Three story, brick building, at Fashion district avenue. I just died again.
Sorry if this is freaking you out, I am what i am. A shopaholic.
On the other hand, wouldn’t it be cool to design a mall?
…I’d own it and live there.
hello, it's saturday
1. I really miss my sister a lot.
2. Going out tonight at the Happy Ending in Hollywood for Javier’s birthday : )
3. I need to start my christmas shopping ASAP.
4. Christmas lighting at the Grove tommorow with Peter : )
5. This bloody semester is almost over. : )
COCO CHANEL
Not a big fan of Chanel but i do like this shirt a lot (because it reminds me of Paris and i always wanted a vintage shirt with a Paris touch) And i’ve been trying to find it at fashion district because they don’t sell this at Rodeo Drive…i think.
Anyway, i’m going to ask my sister for this for christmas since she’s good at finding stuff on the internet aka ebay.
